Cannons vs. Bayhawks in 2010

In the first match-up between the Cannons and Bayhawks last season, the Cannons took a fast 3-0 lead. Chesapeake rallied and the score got piled up to 8-8 in the third. Matt Poskay and Paul Rabil scored back to back goals to give the Cannons what seemed like a solid 11-8 lead, but the Bayhawks fired back and forced overtime. In sudden death, Kimmel scored an unassisted goal which gave the Bayhawks the win on the Cannon’s home turf. Two weeks later, the teams met again. Kevin Buchanan had a hat trick and Poskay tallied two goals but it was not enough for a win. The Bayhawks walked away with a 13-9 home field win. They went on to become the 2010 MLL Champions.
