If you are interested in adding event experience to your resume and have limited availability this summer, consider being a Cannons game day volunteer. We have seven home games this season, all of which are played at Gillette Stadium. Preference will be given to candidates that can attend 5+ home games during the season. Game day volunteers can receive college course credit if applicable. 

Guest Relations Representative (4 positions available)

  • Responsible for providing an exceptional experience to every guest that visits the stadium through various contact points
  • Welcoming fans at our gates, ability to answer a variety of stadium/in-game questions
  • Must be attentive to all guests needs
  • Have full knowledge of stadium policies, services, and facility locations
  • Guest Relations Representative must be able to arrive 3 hours prior to game, and stay the duration of the game

         Other opportunites include:

  • Assist in fan zone
  • Liaison for youth games
  • Oversee player "Meet & Greets" and "Rally tunnel"
  • Act as point of contact for fans at the fan services tent
  • Act as the host for all guests during their visit to Gillette Stadium
  • It is important that each representative can anticapate guests' problems and never ignore them
  • Representatives must be able to arrive 1 hour prior to the game, and stay 30 minutes after

Ticket Sales Internship (3-4 positions available) 

The ticket sales Intern will work with the Director of Ticket Sales to assist in all aspects of ticket sales for the Boston Cannons. This position will require interns to work 2-4 days in the Cannons front office plus ALL home games, and occasional events around the Boston area. The intern will learn about one of the most important aspects of professional sports: filling the stadium with fans. The ticket sales intern will assist with community marketing efforts, season ticket promotions, database management, group sales initiatives, and courtesy follow-up calls to past customers. 


  • Work with the Director of Ticket Sales in all aspects of ticket sales for the Cannons, the most important aspect of professional sports

  • Assist with group sales initiatives, database management, season ticket promotions and more

  • Make sales calls to current and past ticket buyers – must be comfortable on the phone

  • Serve inbound customers; answering phones, forwarding messages, confirming customer orders

  • Maintain supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels


  • Currently pursuing a College/University degree in the field of business or communications

  • Exhibit exceptional work ethic, desire to succeed and passion for a meaningful career in the sports industry

  • Excellent computer skills; Excel, Word, Salesforce CRM, Photoshop

  • Strong organizational, and communication skills


  • The interns weekly office schedule will vary based on community events and the students academic curriculum.


  • The Cannons office is not directly accessible by public transportation (within 1 mile), so applicants should have their own means of transportation.

  • Internships are unpaid, but student can receive course credit.
