Cam Flint (Round 1, #6) – Denver
Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team scored one minute into OT for the 13-12 victory over Denver on Saturday at the Whitman's Sampler Mile High Classic at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Flint scored one goal at the end of the first quarter to tie up the game.
Denver is next in action on Saturday, March 23rd as Air Force visits Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium for an afternoon match-up.
Scott Ratliff (Round 2, #9) – Loyola
Loyola University Greyhounds raced out to a six-goal lead late in the third quarter as they defeated the United States Air Force Academy, 13-7, on Saturday afternoon in the Whitman’s Sampler Mile High Classic on Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Ratliff whipped a 12-yard shot into the goal at 7:27. He then caused a turnover on an Air Force clear just one minute later. Ratliff also finished with one assist.
The Greyhounds next play on Wednesday, March 20th as they travel to Georgetown University.
Will Manny (Round 2, #14) – UMass
The UMass men's lacrosse team dropped a 7-5 decision to Penn State at Garber Field on Saturday afternoon. Senior attack Manny notched a pair of assists in his return from a thumb injury. Manny also finished with two shots on goal.
UMass is back in action against Lehigh University as they travel to Bethlehem on Wednesday, March 20th at 6 p.m.
Lee Coopersmith (Round 3, #22) – Johns Hopkins
The John Hopkins Blue Jays fell to Syracuse this past Saturday by a score of 13-8 in the Carrier Dome. Coopersmith ended his night with one goal.
The Blue Jays return to action next Saturday at Virginia. Face-off is scheduled for 4:30pm.
David DiMaria (Round 6, #46) – Lehigh
The Lehigh Men’s Lacrosse team topped Brendan Buckley and Army by a score of 10-6 in its league opener on Saturday. DiMaria scored his first of the game to give Lehigh a 3-1 lead midway through the second quarter. DiMaria struck twice with another unassisted goal with 3:56 to go in the first half.
Lehigh returns home Wednesday to host fellow draftees Will Manny and Jake Smith as UMass comes to town in a nationally televised showdown on ESPNU. Opening faceoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
