Boston Cannons captain Paul Rabil has been in the news frequenty to represent himself and the sport of Lacrosse. First, Rabil was featured in ESPN’s newest commercial titled “DaDaDa.” The Worldwide Leader in Sports is increasingly well-known for their SportsCenter commercials. The newest commercial includes Rabil in action for the Cannons among a long list of accomplished professional athletes of other sports.

The video was released on ESPN’s YouTube page on Friday, and the video already has 81,000 views.
Today, Bloomberg.com published an article annoucing Rabil, the first professional lacrosse player to reach a million-dollar endorsement portfolio, has hired Octagon as his marketing representative.
Rabil stated that he will be joining the firm’s Personalities & Properties division, being represented by agent Erin Kane, whose clients also include Olympic softball pitcher Jennie Finch. This same division is also clients with NASCAR driver #48 Jimmie Johnson and former National Football League coaches Bill Cowher, Brian Billick and Herm Edwards, along with Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps.
In a telephone interview, Rabil said he sought a long-term, global-minded partner capable of increasing not only his personal brand, but the overall sport of lacrosse at both the professional and development levels.
“We envision having Paul alongside top athletes in other sports. It comes down to personality that captures imagination,” said Kane. “Paul brings lacrosse out of the niche area.”
